The FC Nordljus Development program is for young players aged 13 to 16. Sessions run twice a week at Åkeshov BP in Kungsholmen. Players of all levels are welcome. The goal is to build real skills, not just win matches.
This program suits players who want to learn the game properly. You might be new to football or already playing for a few years. Coaches adapt to what each player needs. Parents who want their child in a safe, structured environment will find this a good fit.
We keep groups small. Every player gets coaching time, not just match minutes.
Sessions follow a clear curriculum. Each week has a technical focus and a tactical theme. Coaches do not just run drills. They explain the why behind each exercise.
Players also receive a simple feedback sheet after each training block. This helps them track their own progress.
All Development sessions take place at Åkeshov BP in Stockholm. The address is Åkeshovsvägen, Bromma. The pitch is full size with floodlights for evening sessions. Public transport runs directly to the venue.
The season runs from April to October. Pre-season begins in February with conditioning sessions.
Development players compete in age-appropriate Stockholm leagues. The focus is on playing time and learning, not league position. Every player in the squad gets match minutes across the season.
We do not cut players mid-season. If you join, you complete the season.
Strong Development players can move into the Academy program at U17 or U19. Coaches track progress and flag players who are ready for a step up. There is no automatic promotion but there is a clear route.
Training starts and ends on time. Coaches communicate via email before each block starts. We ask parents not to coach from the sideline. Trust the process and let players develop at their own pace.
We follow all Swedish Football Federation safeguarding standards. All coaches hold current DBS clearance and coaching licences.
Spaces are limited to keep groups small. Register your interest below and select Development as your preferred program.
